The Mayfair Awards: Stockings of the Year

Around this time of year we tend to look back over the last twelve months, and select some of the highlights for both our customers and ourselves. So, over the coming weeks, we will be showcasing some of our favourite hosiery and lingerie.

Obviously, we are going to start with our favourite stockings! This year, we have decided to award the honour of 'Stockings of the Year 2016' to British brand, Gio, and in particular their Cuban Heel fully fashioned 100% nylon seamed stockings. These are hand made in Britain out of a lovely yarn. They really are what everyone thinks of when talking about stockings.

The second place goes to the French Cervin Capri 15 denier stockings - a beautiful favourite of clients and staff alike. 100% nylon, and available in several colours, they are beautifully sensual stockings, that can be worn both day and night.

Finally, in third place are more French stockings. The Le Bourget Retro stockings are a wonderful smooth pair of sheer nylons that have just a little bit of stretch, as well as a contrasting welt and a slight sheen, making them stunning for everyday.

So, congratulations to Gio for their Cuban stockings. Next up, we will look at the winners in the Hold Ups and Tights category.
