Vintage Stockings

Stockings have always been in fashion.  Since their invention, they have been a popular choice when adding a touch of glamour to your outfit.

Recently, however, a number of loyal customers have been looking for stockings to compliment their vintage outfits. We have seen three main reasons why they have purchased stockings for their outfits:

1. A modern outfit, worn with a simple pair of stockings, can add a classical elegance not found with other lingerie. The ladies who wear our stockings frequently tell us how much more confident and empowered they feel when wearing hosiery. Think of Jackie Kennedy, and how modern day styles take the lead from this era - right through to the Duchess of Cambridge and her preference for sheer hosiery. 2. Revival Events: Anyone attending an event celebrating 'times gone by', such as the Goodwood Revival event, will almost certainly be considering their stockings, alongside their outfit. After all, tights weren't invented until the 60's, so if you want authentic - then stockings are the way to go. 3. Worn for the boudoir. We conducted a survey a number of years back to determine the most popular lingerie in the boudoir. Inevitably, stockings came out on top.
